3D model of the Project 636 "Varshavyanka" (Kilo-class) diesel-electric submarine, developed in the Soviet Union as an advanced evolution of Project 877 Paltus in the late 20th century. Widely exported, Varshavyanka-class submarines remain in active service with several navies worldwide, including Russia, India, Vietnam, China, and Algeria. In the 21st century, Project 636 submarines continue to play an important role in non-nuclear submarine fleets.
The model accurately represents the external geometry and proportions of the real vessel, based on open historical references.
