Leopard Version 2 (This is a model of a Panthera pardus)
New muscle system, improved geometry, more realistic fur and materials, more detailed textures, and more accurate animations!

Ornatrix is REQUIRED in order to use fur (and editable fur parameters)

(Includes model in 3ds max 2023 with and without fur)

This model has been sculpted with real muscular marking directly over own geometry, with clean and balanced geometric distribution, based on the average physical body of the leopard, 204cms long by 93cms of height. Units of measurement : Centimeters

Linear Workflow: All inputs is already linear and gamma was corrected to be linear


The running and walking animations was based on real movements of leopards. (improved and precise animations)

The soft skin and muscle system was done with Flex modifiers and VertexPaint for quick and precise shifting. Applied to the muscles and soft areas of the skin to increase the level of realism in the movements of this feline. (see image references)

The skinning in this file is done using Skin modifier
Face movements such as roaring, opening the mouth and eyes blinking are sliderManipulator controls on the screen directly. These control the skin in these areas through additional bones. (flexible to adjust these movements on the way)
