Big Boy steam locomotive: Union Pacific's Big Boy is a legendary steam engine built in the 1940s to pull heavy freight over the challenging terrain of the Western U.S. These locomotives, with 4-8-8-4 wheel arrangements, were the largest ever built, capable of reaching speeds of 70 mph. Their robust design, weighing over a million pounds, made them ideal for hauling long trains over mountain grades.
For ancient rail transportation, obsolete railway road vehicles, steam powered machines, railroad transport history, railroad transportation history, old type steam trains, old fashion railroad transport, old style train machines, obsolete rail road equipment, and antique transportation vehicles.
Locomotive Big Boy Rigged is a high quality, photo real 3d model that will enhance detail and realism to any of your rendering projects.
