Luthen Rael’s gallery on Coruscant is less a shop and more a carefully staged illusion. Antique artifacts, rare relics, and cultural fragments are arranged with curator-level precision, projecting the image of a refined dealer in history. He often claims that time stands still there, and in a sense, it does. The space feels insulated from the Empire’s reach, a quiet pocket where the past is preserved and examined. Yet beneath that stillness lies something far more dynamic the shop doubles as a covert hub, where coded conversations and subtle exchanges fuel rebellion in plain sight.

The Mortis stone, The Daughter
Open Hand of the daughter (the Light Side), set within a complex radial map.The Origin: This piece was smuggled out of the ruined Jedi Temple on Lothal years before its total collapse. The golden inlay is made of a rare, Force-sensitive alloy that was said to vibrate when in the presence of a pure soul. The Purpose: It isn't just art; it is a star-chart to the Vergence. The lines radiating from the Daughter’s palm correspond to specific hyperspace lanes that lead to nodes of Life-energy throughout the Outer Rim.
The Mortis stone, Father and son
larger fragment depicts the Father and the Son (Balance and the Dark Side) locked in a celestial orbit. The Origin: This stone was liberated from a private collection on Coruscant that belonged to a disgraced Senator who vanished during the early days of the Purge. It is believed to be part of a larger mural from the Valley of the Jedi. The Purpose: Known as the Dial of Duality, this stone represents the mechanical nature of power. The interlocking circles suggest that the Dark Side (the Fist) and Balance (the Pointing Hand) are constantly pulling at one another. Ancient scholars used this stone to predict Great Shifts in the galaxy—periods where the political and spiritual landscape would suddenly fracture.
The Calendar of the Lost Sun
Origin: It was recovered from a system in the Expansion Region that had been devastated during the Alsakan Conflicts centuries before the rise of the Empire. The Meaning: To the culture that created it, the stone wasn't just a way to tell time; it was a religious map of the Force. The central figure represents the Current Age, while the surrounding rings dictate the precise celestial alignments required for The Great Awakening.
Ghorman Echo DiscsCrafted from compressed sediment unique to the highlands of Ghorman, the Echo Discs are ceremonial objects once used by artisan guilds to “record” legacy rather than sound. Each concentric pattern is not decorative, but a coded imprint, subtle variations etched during their creation that represent agreements, lineages, and moments of cultural significance.By the era of Andor, these discs had largely disappeared from public life, quietly confiscated or archived under Imperial oversight. Those that remain are often displayed as innocuous art pieces, their true purpose overlooked. However, among those who understand their language, an Echo Disc can still “speak”—revealing histories of trade, resistance, and identity embedded within its radial design.
