Additional information
This is a set of T158 spare tracks designed for the 1/16 scale Heng Long M1A2 Abrams RC tank. The track pin holes are designed with a 2.5mm diameter, allowing you to easily hang these tracks onto the tank's turret storage baskets. Naturally, they can also be used as stowage on other 1/16 scale models.

PLEASE NOTE: These are static spare tracks intended strictly as a decorative element (stowage). They are NOT functional tracks and cannot be used on the tank's actual suspension.

Design Features & Assembly

The product includes two versions of the center guide part:

A version with holes for M1.4 screws.

A solid version without holes.

A quick note from the designer: The version with screw holes was originally intended for securely clamping onto the turret basket wire. However, to be completely honest, M1.4 screws and nuts proved to be a bit too tiny to handle easily in practice :) So, I ended up using the screws simply as alignment pins and secured the two halves of the center guide together with model glue.

Additional Hardware Required:To assemble the tracks, you will need the following materials:

3 or 4 metal tubes (2mm diameter)

2x M1.4 screws and 2x M1.4 nuts

Model glue

Printing DetailsThe model is optimized for FDM printing using a 0.2mm nozzle to ensure proper tolerances and fine details.

Test Print Setup: Bambu Lab P1S | 0.2mm nozzle | PLA filament.

Note: The printed tracks shown in the photos have undergone some light post-process sanding.
