In this tutorial, I recreated Leon’s Requiem Revolver from the newly released Resident Evil Requiem completely from scratch.
The original in-game weapon is built with around 55,000 polygons, but in this workflow I created a much cleaner and more optimized version with only 15,000 polygons, making it lighter and more suitable for real-time use while still preserving the overall look and detail.
The entire process was done from start to finish:
Modeling in BlenderTexturing and material creation in Substance PainterThis tutorial shows my full workflow for building a game-ready revolver, focusing on clean topology, optimization, and achieving a detailed final result with a much lower polygon count.
It can be useful for artists who want to improve their hard-surface workflow, game asset optimization, and weapon creation pipeline
