Additional information
Nanoracks' Starlab space station, proposed for NASA's Commercial LEO Destinations development program. Starlab offers a volume approximately one third that of the International Space Station, split between two pressurized modules. The station will be manufactured by Airbus, and takes advantage of their extensive heritage in both human spaceflight (for the ATV and Orion programs) and satellite and launch vehicle systems

The large, approximately 8-meter diameter pressurized section includes four total docking ports: two IDSS-compatible ports, and two Common Berthing Mechanisms, one of which is reserved for a Bishop-type airlock module. Two small adapter modules convert the CBM ports to IDSS ports and serve as structural spacers. There are several mounting points along the exterior for unpressurized experiments and equipment, and two large windows

The service module on the aft end provides power, propulsion, attitude control, thermal control, and an additional docking port. The station is designed to operate in a solar-inertial attitude, with the SM pointed towards the sun.

This model represents the second major design iteration of the Starlab program, in which Airbus replaced the original station manufacturer, Lockheed Martin. A model of the old version remains available here: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/space/spaceship/nanoracks-starlab-2021

All materials and textures are packed into the .blend file. Some materials make use of Blender-specific procedural textures. Modifiers, geometry nodes, and instancing have been used to simplify editing and improve file size
