This ring was made based on the ring used by the character Green Lantern.
Several individuals have assumed the name of Green Lantern over time. Each had a ring that gave them great control over the physical world. The ring was considered the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, creating complex shaped objects according to the mind of its bearer, limited only by two things: the Green Lantern willpower and the yellow color where the ring has no effect at all ( problem caused by an impurity in the original source that generated the rings).
The Ring of the Green Lanterns must be recharged according to the rotation period of its carrier's home planet (on Earth, every 24 Hours). The battery of the ring resembled the old lantern used for example by the railwaymen to signal something on the rails to train drivers.
The rings of the Green Lanterns were made by the Guardians of the Universe, extremely ancient beings and powerful, who have the mission to watch over the maintenance of intergalactic peace. The power of the ring comes from the energy matter of the planet OA, home of the guardians, which is at the center of the universe, nourishing the vital energy of all beings in the universe.
