This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 This is my train station on my layout. A little bit of history: when I went into the service in the 70s, my dad tossed out all my stuff while I was overseas I guess he was afraid I would come home in a box!. Fast forward to about 15 years ago. I was browsing in an antique shop and I found this kit from the 50s. I bought it. (My old kit?) A friend of mine said not to build it cause it would decrease the value. After several models, I built the train station. It sees a lot of trafic. I had to add some foundation pieces from Plastruct shapes. It has been there ever since. As a bonus, I have included some pictures of my layout. They were taken with a low-res camera, so they are a bit fuzzy. You can see the train starion in its home. I also included a picture of a bank robbery with the Idaho State Police car which is very valuable and my theatre. So have fun with this, The kit does not have stairs, which I added to the model. This model is 90% components. The stairs are components, you can edit them to add railings. This a shell with floors. Is made up of 3X 3 squares.
