This is a Trofast system railing. This railing allows you to add a Trofast compatible drawer to the underside of a table or desk, as long as you do not mind screwing into the desk. This mount can give extra storage to a desk or table, that would otherwise have no drawers or storage.
Print Instructions
Material: PLA or PETG
Supports: No
Orientation: Place the side of the piece on the print bed, so the piece will be printed vertically
Pieces (for each drawer you intend to mount, you will need…)
2 to 4 Trofast system railings (model available in lengths of 50 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm) (included)
4 to 6 screws (in the files the shaft diameter of the required screw is 5 mm and the head diameter is 10 mm with a head thickness of 5 mm) (not included)
Installation
Place your two Trofast system railings on the bottom of the piece of furniture, you intend to mount them to.
Insure the two railings are the correct distance from each other and parallel to each other, so that the bin will fit into them.
Mark the holes in the railings with a pencil.
Drill the screws through the holes in the railing into the piece of furniture.
Place the drawer inside the two railings.
If you would like to add a backstop, you can repeat this process with another railing behind the bin.
