The engine is a turbocharged three-cylinder placed across in front of the rear axle together with the manual gearbox. The supporting structure consists of a central carbon one monocoque with expanded polystyrene core and front and rear aluminum subframe. The suspension consists of transverse arms. The front and back cover of the chassis also have a z core polystyrene foam. This allows it to model the wing profile on the bottom of the covers, which will be induce downforce at low air resistance compared to spoilers. Double-sided coating of these parts with the foam core will also make it possible to use very thin layers of laminate and thus reduce weight while maintaining sufficient stiffness.
