Missile Pod, planned as part of future M.U.L.E. (Modular Universal Longterm Extraplanetary) construction system (modular ship/station pack).

LORE: With the growing influence of the Pirate Barons in the outer regions of the solar system and, as a result, more frequent and more daring pirate raids, the imperial engineers were faced with the difficult task of giving the Empire's light patrol ships enough firepower to repel pirate attacks.The solution was the new Sparrow missile launch system. The engineers managed to fit an impressive number (namely 18) of light rockets into a relatively small SX module. Despite the lack of autonomous reloading systems, the available missiles were more than enough to destroy poorly assembled and even worse armored pirate vessels.
