The MAN HX 10x10 heavy tow truck for trucks and special equipment was built in the interests of evacuating wheeled and tracked all-terrain vehicles for both military and civilian purposes. For this chassis, the recovery equipment carrier uses a five-axle self-propelled platform of the Rheinmetall-MAN HX45M series with all-wheel drive 10x10 of the 2+3 type, with swivel wheels of the first two axles, and 5 axles.
