Medieval Siege
- This model is part of the Medieval Siege Engine collection. This is a Siege Tower, also known as a Breaching Tower, or a Belfry. These mobile towers were often built at the sight of an ancient battle and were used to protect infantry trying to scale the walls of a fort or castle. Armies would use siege towers when simple ladders were insufficient or too short. The towers also provided the benefit of being a vantage point for archers.
