Description
The Nagant M1895 revolver was a seven-shot sidearm adopted by the Russian Empire in 1895 and used into WWII and beyond. Its groundbreaking gas-seal system—where the cylinder moves forward when cocked—sealed the barrel gap, boosting muzzle velocity by roughly 75 fps and enabling effective suppression. Chambered in proprietary 7.62×38 mmR, it weighed approximately 0.8 kg (1.8 lb), measured 235 mm with a 4.5-inch barrel, and delivered about 335 m/s (1,100 fps). Over 2 million units were built in Belgium and Soviet arsenals, serving through World War I, the Russian Civil War, and World War II, even seeing reserve service into the 1950s.
This model is a realistic version of the Nagant M1895 design. Based on soviet blueprints and photos, it’s also suitable for rendering and animation purposes.
