  • Description

The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger E was a heavy tank used by the nazi germany during the second world war. The design of the Tiger I started during 1937 with the participation of Henschel, Porsche and other companies. A workable design was not reached until 1941, leaving mulitple discarded prototypes that helped in the design of other weapons. The tank entered in service during 1942 in the Eastern Front and made part of the German weaponary until 1945. The tank was slightly modified during the war, improving its reliability, armor and firepower. Although the tank participated mostly in the eastern fornt, some units were sent to Africa and Europe.

This model is a realistic and accurate version of the Late Tiger E design, based in original german technical drawings, museum photographs and 3D scans. It is suitable for rendering and 3D printing up to a 1:6 model scale.
