  • Description

The Panzerkampfwagen VII Löwe was a super-heavy tank prototype designed by Krupp during the Second World War. The development of the Löwe started in 1941 and was cancelled in 1942 to redirect resources to the Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus project. Two main variants were proposed: the Leichter Löwe (VK 70.01) and the Schwerer Löwe (VK 72.01), differing in armor thickness and top speed. The vehicle was planned to be armed with a powerful 10.5 cm L/70 main gun and one secondary machine gun. Although the project never reached production, its concepts influenced later German heavy tank designs.

This model is a realistic and highly detailed representation of the Löwe prototype, based on original WW2 German technical drawings. Since no photographs of the real vehicle exist, several design elements were reconstructed from modified Tiger II components, staying faithful to German tank engineering philosophy. It is ideal for close-up rendering, simulations, video games, and 3D printing.
