After the release of several prototypes, the Muegyetemi Sportrepulo Egyesulet (MSrE) in 1938 began the construction of the first production aircraft based on the M-19, designated M-24. The main designers of the project were Josef Szegedy and Endre Jancsó.

The aircraft was a double low wing with an elliptical wing, equipped with a German engine Hirth HM 504A-2 with a capacity of 100 hp. (75 kW).

After a successful prototype test, a small series of 5 aircraft was ordered. The first two cars in this series were sold by the Royal Air Force of Egypt.

In 1940, a modification of the aircraft was released, which received the designation M-25 Nebulo. It was also built in a small series in triplicate.

In the same year, the EMESE experimental plant was erected, where they began to build prototypes developed at MSrE. In 1942, another modification of the M-24 was completed, which received the designation M-29. And a year later, the M-27 was built at the plant, which was a training modification for fighter pilots with the German Argus As 10 engine. These prototypes did not receive further development, since the plant was destroyed as a result of the Allied bombing.
