Ancient Rome Weapons and Armor Collection
A collection of roman weapons, armor and equipment, the models feature 4k baked textures with non-overlapping UV maps. Ideal for games, historical or educational purposes, the collection contains a selection of 30 items from different time periods and locations. Here's a list of the objects in the collection:
- Ballista: A torsion-powered missile weapon of Greek origin, adopted and developed further by the Roman Republic.
- Bow: A compound bow of Scythian origin, used by auxiliary troops.
- Caligae: Roman boots made of leather that were worn in the Roman legions.
- Cetratus: An oval shaped light shield, used by auxiliary troops.
- Cingulum Militare: A heavy leather belt with metal decorations, worn by soldiers and officials.
- Cornu: A brass instrument of Etruscan origin, used to give signals by the Roman military.
- Falx: A curved blade of Dacian Origin.
- Gladius: The standard issue short sword of the Roman legions.
- Hasta: A long spear used by the Roman units known as Hastati.
- Coolus Helmet: A military helmet used circa from III BC to I AD.
- Imperial Italic D Helmet: An iron helmet with brass decorations, used circa I and II AD.
- Montefortino Helmet: A military helmet of celtic origin that coexisted with the Coolus helmet.
- Murmillo Helmet: A helmet worn by the Murmillo gladiators.
- Lorica Hamata: A chain mail armor used by the Legions during the Republic and Empire periods.
- Lorica Musculata Bronze: A muscle cuirass made of bronze.
- Lorica Musculata Leather: Muscle cuirasss made of leather.
- Lorica Segmentata: Armor made of metal strips, used circa I-III AD
- Lorica Squamata: Scale armor used by the Roman military, from the Republic period onwards.
- Manica: Iron or bronze armguard, worn by some gladiatos and roman soldiers.
- Military Mask: Masks made of iron and brass, thought to have been worn by cavalry units.
- Onager: A roman siege weapon powered by torsion of a rope system.
- Parma: An oval-shaped shield used by the velites light infantry units.
- Pilum: A heavy javelin or roughly 2 meters long, used by the Roman infantry.
- Pugio: A dagger of hispanic origin, used during the Republic.
- Scorpio: A siege and artillery piece used for attacking and defending positions.
- Scutum: A semi-cylindric shield made of wood, leather, with a central boss made of a copper or iron alloy.
- Signum Legionis: A standard carried by a cohort from a legion.
- Spatha: A long sword used by auxiliary troops and later adopted by Roman cavalry and heavy infantry units.
- Tuba: A military signal instrument of Etruscan origin.
- Vexillum: A flag standard used in the roman army.
