The model was created in Blender and textured in Substance Painter.
Attached is an spp file for possible texture changes and to learn how to create this model.
Members of the non-human humanoid races favored this blaster model over others due to its wide trigger guard and thickened handle, which was comfortable to hold in large, long-fingered hands. Among the people, this blaster was much less popular, but one of the guards of the Hive-7, a man named Augustine Smythe,once learned to shoot from the DT-12 and took one of the pistols of this model for himself when he came across the gunsmith Airem Radik's workshop in prison.
The power supply capacity of this blaster was 50 shots. The pistol could be switched to stun mode, although the range of its shot was reduced to 9 meters. DT-12 cost 900 credits,however, its use was restricted to military organizations and police forces. Of course, this prohibition was often violated. In particular, a notable DT-12 user was a bounty hunter named Greedo, who in 0 BBY made an unsuccessful attempt to shoot Han Solo with it.
