The iconic Yatagan Sword is famous Ottoman Turkish short sword/scimitar which is mainly used between 16th and 19th centuries. It was mainly used as primary weapon of elite infantry group of Ottoman army called Janissary. Its usage had spread to Balkans and Caucasus from Anatolia.
