Type 15 (Chinese: 15式轻型坦克; ZTQ-15), nicknamed the Black Panther is a Chinese third-generation light tank. Designed for combat in extreme temperatures the Type 15 has been adopted by the Chinese Marines and Chinese Army as the ZTQ-15. The main gun is a 105mm rifled gun and the first designed to fire standard NATO 105mm ammunition with a 38-round autoloader. It is also armed with a 35mm automatic grenade launcher, a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun, and a remotely controlled 12.7mm heavy machine gun. The Type-15 can also fire GP105mm guided missiles out to a range of 5km. The Type 15 has advanced optics and thermal imaging which gives it superior night fighting and long-range engagement up to 8km. It’s also equipped with laser warning, NBC, air conditioning, smoke, and fire suppression systems. The ZTQ-15 can be rapidly deployed and fight in high mountains and coastlines
